TRANSPORTATION TO THE DEPARTMENT
Transportation from Train Station
When you get off at Eskişehir Train Station, you can take the number 3 "SSK-OGü" tram line from "Ulus Anıtı" or "İsmet İnönü" tram stop. After getting off at the last stop, you can walk 100 meters to the entrance of the university.
Transportation from Bus Terminal
After getting off at Eskişehir Bus Terminal, you can reach the university by using the number 4 "OTOGAR-OGÜ" tram line, the last stop of which is our school.
Bus Lines to the University
You can get to the university from various parts of the city by buses passing through the "ESOGÜ Tıp Fakültesi" stop.
LOCATION OF THE DEPARTMENT
Our department is located on the bottom floor of the M4 building among the engineering buildings (M1, M2, M3, and M4). It is about 2 km away from the entrance gate of the Faculty of Medicine. In this respect, we recommend that our students who do not want to walk come by car. Except for the pandemic period, there is an on-campus ring line. (When the ring services that cannot be used due to the pandemic are started to be used, it will be possible to come to our faculty with rings).
CURRENT ACADEMICIAN ROOMS
The room of our department chair Prof. Melih Cemal Kuşhan is located in the Mechanical Engineering Department (M2 Building), Prof. Kürşad Melih Güleren and our Vice Chairs Assoc. Prof. Işıl Yazar and Asst. Prof. Fehmi Diltemiz in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering Building (M4 Building), Assoc. Prof. Selim Gürgen and Asst. Prof. Zafer Öznalbant on the 1st floor of the Construction-Machinery Laboratories Building, Instr. Turgay Urla at the Dean's Office Building. Rsch. Asst. Yusuf Yeğiner and Rsch. Asst. Yasin Peker is also in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering Building (M4 Building).
ACCOMMODATION
Students who are enlisted in our department can apply to KYK dormitories. At the same time, there are many different dormitories / apartments around our university. There are also 1+1, 2+1 and other houses suitable for students, suitable for single and multiple people in Büyükdere District and its surroundings. Located on the south-west side of the campus, Ömür District. Although it is far from the city, it can be preferred for a suitable rental house. Eti Street which is closer to the city center. Bağlar or University streets, which are closer to the city center, may be an alternative for students who prefer to live in the city center, although they are a little far from the school. It is definitely recommended to consider public transportation alternatives when choosing a house or dormitory.
FOOD-DRINK
There is one main dining hall in our university. You can eat in the cafeteria by adding money to your "student ID card". Apart from this, a dining hall will be opened around the Faculty of Engineering (the location will be announced soon). Dining hall prices are as follows as of 22.09.2021:
Apart from the dining hall, there are different restaurants and fast food centers on campus. These restaurants are located a little further inside the campus, on the way from the dining hall to the engineering faculty. There are also ATMs such as Ziraat, Akbank, QNB Finansbank in the same place. It is possible to find restaurant alternatives outside the campus, but it may be a bit time-consuming to go off-campus from the engineering buildings.
For dinner off-campus, artisan restaurants especially for students can be found on Eti Street, Bağlar Street, Köprü Başı, Odunpazarı, which can be defined as the city center.
