ESOGU - Aeronautical Engineering

ESOGU Department of Aeronautical Engineering aims to train engineers with sufficient knowledge to work in the design, manufacture, maintenance, repair and aviation enterprises of military and civil aircraft, and to carry out research and application studies related to aircraft and aviation.

The Department of Aeronautical Engineering was established in 2019 within the Faculty of Engineering-Architecture to provide 100% English education with a teaching staff of 3 people, 1 of whom is a Professor and 2 of whom are Assistant Professors. Currently, there are 2 Professors, 2 Associate Professors, 2 Assistant Professors, 1 Instructor and 3 Research Assistants, totaling 10 full-time permanent academic staff. Dynamic and specialized staff are joining the department every day.

EU Scholarships for Perspective Students (ESPS)

Funded by the European Union and coordinated by Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University and implemented by Çukurova University, Gaziantep University, Harran University, Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, İskenderun Technical University, Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University, Kilis 7 December University, Mardin Artuklu University and Mersin University, the ESPS project aims to increase access to higher education for students under international protection and under temporary protection, and to provide them with the necessary skills to become self-sufficient and thus contribute to Turkey's economic growth and development.

For this purpose, it is planned to award scholarships to 4800 students in relevant statuses. The qualifications of the students eligible for scholarships are set out in the European Commission's call guide. Within the scope of the call, scholarships will be awarded in 23 provinces (Adana, Ankara, Bursa, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Hatay, İstanbul, İzmir, Kahramanmaraş, Karabük, Kayseri, Kilis, Konya, Malatya, Mardin, Mersin, Samsun, Şanlıurfa, Trabzon, Van) Students studying at undergraduate and graduate level at the Faculties of Engineering, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Business Administration, Design and Architecture, Science, Literature, Education, Law, Languages, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Medicine and Communication and related fields can apply for scholarships. The special criterion for application is a GPA of 2.50 and above. In addition, socio-economic status criteria will be used to rank the applicants. Meal Scholarship

Our Rectorate will provide one free meal scholarship to our successful and low-income students (6 people) between November 01, 2023 and June 14, 2024 from the budget of the Department of Health, Culture and Sports. Those who want to receive a food scholarship can fill out the attached form and submit their documents to the department secretariat.

Part-Time Student Application

The quota of Part-Time Students allocated to our department for the 2023-2024 academic year is 1 person. Attached is the application form, working principles and required documents. Part-time student working period will start on November 1, 2023 and end on June 14, 2024. Those who wish to apply can submit their documents to the department secretariat.
