Dear Students,
You are cordially invited to the thesis presentation on Rotating Detonation Engines (RDE), which are considered among the future propulsion systems in aerospace and propulsion technologies.
Title: "Numerical Investigations of a Premixed Rotating Detonation Engine with Aerospike Nozzle"
Presenter: Res. Asst. Nebi Can Aslan
About the Content: Rotating Detonation Engines represent a next-generation engine technology that utilizes detonation combustion, which is superior to conventional combustion (deflagration) in terms of efficiency. The presentation will cover numerical analyses of complex flowfield structures, such as detonation waves, oblique shock waves, parasitic combustion zones, and the resulting flow discontinuities.
Who Should Attend? This presentation will provide significant technical insight, particularly for students who wish to work in or learn more about CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics).
