Today, while technology is developing rapidly, companies have also made efforts to rapidly digitalize in this field. Especially during the pandemic period, the need for trained manpower in the field of information technologies has constantly increased. Since we do not have enough qualified labor force in this field, many companies have started to meet this need from abroad.
The project, owned by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Treasury and Finance, aims to train 1 million citizens in the field of information technologies by 2023 with the support of many public and private institutions in partnership with the Information and Communication Technologies Authority. The project is Turkey's first and only "training-employment" platform in the field of information technologies. Accordingly, the resumes of the people involved in the project will be made available to employers in a digital environment and will bring employers and the workforce together.
Within the scope of the project, individuals will be able to access online trainings to be provided by the ICTA Academy in the field of information technologies through the platform. Individuals will be able to log in to the online training platform via e-government or 1 Million Employment System, register for the courses in the system and participate in the training. The trainings received by the individuals will be reflected in their CVs by the BTK Academy.
