Under the coordination of AFAD Presidency with the vision of creating a disaster-resilient society, a national drill will be organized on the anniversary of the November 12, 1999 Düzce Earthquake on the anniversary of the November 12, 1999 Düzce Earthquake for the purposes of bringing together public institutions, private sector, non-governmental organizations and real persons who will take part in effective response to disasters and emergencies of all types and scales that may occur in Turkey, developing the culture of working together, gaining and developing the ability to act in coordination, testing and developing the ability to respond to possible disasters, and raising awareness in the society.
In the drill, the Drop-Cover-Hold on movement will be carried out simultaneously in 81 provinces and districts at 18:57 on Saturday, November 12, 2022.
